BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police are asking the for community’s help in locating an attempted burglary suspect after video was captured from a Cocoa homeowner’s security camera.
It shows an unknown person attempting to burglarize a vehicle. These would-be car burglars will roam neighborhood streets and pull on car door handles until they find one unlocked, police say.
Then, they helped themselves to whatever is left inside the vehicle.
Please make sure to lock your vehicles and remove all items of value.
Vehicle burglars will target any neighborhood, any time, so please be diligent in “hardening the target.”
The best way to prevent crime is to prevent the opportunity for a crime to occur.
