Each child rode shotgun in a lights and sirens escort to Walmart where they had $100 to spend

ABOVE VIDEO: The Cocoa Police Department had the honor of taking 35 children on a Christmas shopping spree called ‘Shop with a Cop’. Each child was paired with a police officer.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Police Department had the honor of taking 35 children on a Christmas shopping spree called ‘Shop with a Cop’. Each child was paired with a police officer.

The children shopped for family members and were selected by local schools to participate.

“We thank all of our many sponsors that help make it possible for us to be able to do this. Thanks to Mike Erdman Toyota Southeast Petro Distributors, Inc. Walmart Cocoa Cocoa Police Foundation, and countless others that have made donations to support this effort!” said Cocoa Police spokesperson.
