BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – For months now, the neighbors on Ash Street in Melbourne have been forced to deal with numerous miscreants who basically took over the residence located at 243 Ash Street.

This collection of less than desirables who can’t seem to obey the law essentially forced out the rightful owner, an elderly lady who moved in with her friend in Palm Bay.

After that, those staying at the residence became a constant pain in the butt to the neighbors as they trashed the house, did drugs, trespassed on the neighbors property, created disturbances and so on.

In fact, since January of this year, our agency responded to 59 calls for service at the address for everything from disturbances, to sex offender verifications, narcotics investigations, suspicious incidents, and trespassing.

Now think about that for a minute…that’s 59 calls for services that were not only a waste of our taxpayer dollars, but also took our Deputies away from being able to patrol our streets and keep good law abiding citizens safe.

Well, enough is enough, the neighbors have been tormented, our Deputies pulled away from what they should be doing, and you know darn well that I can’t stand criminals, much less ones that are disrupting an entire neighborhood.

Barry MacWilliams, Amy King, Kristyn Ferguson, Christopher Vought, and Stephannie Al-Jawabra all had reservations waiting in their names at “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge” where we locked their butts up for Resisting Without Violence. (BCSO Image)

So we put the house at 243 Ash Street on the “Sheriff’s High Intensity Target” list (you can figure out the acronym for yourself), which means we tear your little playhouse down.

As a result, I directed our South Precinct Commander Ron Little and our South Precinct Deputies to work with the family that owns the residence, and also our General Counsel, Laura Moody, to evict the scumbags from inside and take their butts to jail if they even as much as thought about not leaving.

And that’s exactly what we did earlier this morning, when we served the Final Eviction and gave lawful orders for everyone to exit the residence.

Only one of the people inside had enough common sense to immediately comply and the other five occupants, yeah they made the mistake of running towards the rear of the residence and refused to come out.

So not only did we evict the people inside the residence, but Barry MacWilliams, Amy King, Kristyn Ferguson, Christopher Vought, and Stephannie Al-Jawabra all had reservations waiting in their names at “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge” where we locked their butts up for Resisting Without Violence.

Oh, and after we secured the house, we had a locksmith change all of the locks and completely secure the premises, so if they come back we get to arrest them again for even more stuff.

And just to make sure they don’t come back, we parked our “Sheriff’s High Intensity Target” Surveillance Van right in the front yard so we can get them on video if they return to the property.

Oh and by the way, if you are the occupants of a nuisance house somewhere else in our community, I suggest you knock your crap off and move to another county as the “Sheriff’s High Intensity Target Surveillance Van” will be coming to your neighborhood real soon.

Man I love this job and this case is a perfect example of what happens when we partner together with our citizens to eradicate dirtbags from our community!! I could not be more proud of our Deputies and all they do to keep our community safe.
