BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Tigers class of 2025 four-star defensive end Javion Hilson won Defensive Line MVP at the Rivals Camp in Miami on Sunday.

Hilson is ranked the nation’s No. 1 weakside defensive end and No. 45 prospect overall according to Rivals’ latest rankings.

The State Champion Cocoa Tiger committed to Florida State back in January.

Javion is listed as Florida’s No. 9 prospect overall.

He chose FSU over other programs such as the University of Florida, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, Penn State, and Tennessee to name of few.

The 4-star prospect entered the State Championship game with 90 tackles, 14 sacks, and three forced fumbles.

Cocoa Tigers Head Coach Ryan Schneider had this to say about his defensive star when interviewed by 24/7 Sports, “He’s blessed to have God-given, ability,” Cocoa head coach Ryan Schneider said. “The thing that makes him great is his work ethic and drive to be the best player he can be. His work ethic and drive are some of the best I’ve ever seen in a high school football player.”
