Cameron Woods, 41, apprehended after he climbed out of a bedroom window to escape Deputies

ABOVE VIDEO: Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey announced on Sunday that K-9 Gator helped take down a Grant-Valkaria man after fleeing Deputies and hiding in the woods.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey announced on Sunday that K-9 Gator helped take down a Grant-Valkaria man after fleeing Deputies and hiding in the woods.

Sheriff Ivey identified the man as 41-year-old Cameron Woods.

Woods was been charged with Battery and Resisting Officer Without Violence. He was apprehended after he climbed out of a bedroom window to escape Deputies, and went into the adjacent woods. Deputies then set up a perimeter and sent Gator into the woods after the perp, who promptly surrendered after Gator did what he was trained to do.

According to Sheriff Ivey, Gator said Woods “tasted like chicken.”
