BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Pirates will host the Melbourne Bulldogs Friday night on Space Coast Daily TV at Pirates Stadium, presented by Erdman Automotive.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Pirates (4-2) enter tonight riding a two-game win streak as they prepare to face off against the Melbourne Bulldogs.
Palm Bay head coach Dan Burke has his team playing well after starting the season 2-2. In the last two matchups, the Pirates have outscored their last two opponents by a combined score of 70-13.
The Bulldogs (2-4) didn’t have a great start season when it comes to the win-column but Melbourne has managed to rattle off a couple wins in the last two weeks and hopes to extend their win streak to the three games against their neighbor on Babcock St., the Palm Bay Pirates.
Despite the bad start to the season, this young Melbourne team has a chance to help rectify the season if they could pull off a win over a solid Palm Bay squad.
For Melbourne to have any success tonight, it will start with their freshman running back Kymarion Johnson who leads the team in rushing yards (299 yards).
