BREVARD COUNTY • ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Space Coast Daily’s Juan Rodriguez and Terry Spain attended the Orlando Magic media day at the new Advent Health Training facility on Monday.

The Orlando Magic are entering their third season under head coach Jamahl Mosley. The team finished last season with a 34-48 record.

“Just living up to the expectations that we set for ourselves as a team,” said reigning rookie of the year Paolo Banchero.

“We have a lot of familiar faces in here. We have a lot of the same guys back with a couple new fresh faces. We had some success last year once we were all healthy.

The preseason begins for Orlando on October 10 where they are set to take on the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Magic’s 2023 regular season begins with their home opener on October 17 where they host the Houston Rockets. The last time these two faced off, the magic won 110-106 back in December 2022.
