Wayne Younger Steps Down as Rockledge Head Football Coach After Nine Seasons

YOUNGER TOOK OVER RAIDERS FOOTBALL PROGRAM IN 2015

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Rockledge Raiders head football coach Wayne Younger announced he will be stepping down after nine seasons.

Younger was the longest-tenured head coach in Brevard County after accepting the job back in 2015.

During his tenure, he finished with an overall record of 64-35.

Rockledge Raiders assistant head coach/defensive coordinator and Space Coast Sports Hall of Famer Tyrone Giscombe has been named interim head coach.

SPACE COAST DAILY TV: Since 2007, Coach Tyrone Giscombe has mentored and coached student-athletes who have been on teams that have won a combined six state titles, nine district titles, 10 regional titles and three Cape Coast Conference titles in track.
