SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket on Sunday (August 6) carrying another batch of 22 second-generation Starlink V2 Mini internet satellites from Cape Canaveral.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket on Sunday (August 6) carrying another batch of 22 second-generation Starlink V2 Mini internet satellites from Cape Canaveral.

Weather conditions are not favorable on Sunday as “…active thunderstorms and their associated cloud cover are more likely to be in close proximity to the pad,” said the 45th Weather Squadron in statement.

“Later in the window, thunderstorms are expected to diminish or move offshore, with remnant cloud cover gradually thinning.”

The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will land on the drone ship ‘A Shortfall of Gravitas’ stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

The launch is targeted for 8 p.m. ET.
