BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Island Dermatology & Wellness, located at 6470 U.S. Highway 1 in Rockledge, is now accepting new patients and provides world class comprehensive dermatology and family medicine with a goal to provide the highest quality dermatology and family medicine to patients.

Island Dermatology & Wellness is staffed with a team of an experienced dermatology provider, family practice provider, plastic surgeon, and medical professionals.

MEET THE ISLAND DERMATOLOGY & WELLNESS STAFF:
Kathleen Verapaele, APRN, FNP-BC: Kathleen lives in Merritt Island where she grew up. She has six amazing children and a wonderful husband. She loves being on the boat, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. Verpaele is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Kathleen earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at University of South Florida graduating with honors.
She decided to pursue her career further, obtaining her Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Central Florida graduating with honors. Kathleen has over a decade of experience in Dermatology and 5 years in Internal Medicine. She is a certified Master injector. She loves everything skin. She belongs to the Dermatology Nurses Association and Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners.
Nichole Venzara Deeks, APRN, FNP-BC: Nichole is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Merritt Island born and bred, she continues the healing tradition following her father, Dr. Frank Venzara II, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, and brother, Dr. Frank Venzara Ill, Board Certified Ophthalmologist, as a Family Practitioner. Nichole earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Hawaii Pacific University, Honolulu HI in 2011. She was a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse for 5 years, and in addition, four years in the congenital and adult cardiovascular intensive care unit.
She decided to pursue her career further, obtaining her Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Tampa in 2018. Nikki has a strong passion for family medicine, focusing on preventative health and wellness, including dermatological procedure. She has been working as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2019. She is certified by the American Association Aesthetic Medicine in Master injection and cosmetic procedures.
Frank X. Venzara, MD: Dr. Venzara is a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He graduated from the University of Miami and the Miller School of Medicine in 1977. He and his wife have served the Brevard community for the last 46 years. They have three wonderful children, two who have followed suit in the medical field, Dr. Frank X Venzara III, a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and Nichole Venzara-Deeks as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Venzara finds great joy seeing his children serve the same community. He is proud to represent Island Dermatology & Wellness as their Medical Director and Supervising Physician.
