BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police and rescue personnel have responded to the scene of a fatal crash scene near Aurora Rd. and Cypress Ave. involving a pedestrian and a train at approximately 2:46 p.m. on Thursday.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that the female pedestrian involved in the crash was dead. The name of the pedestrian is not being released pending notification of next of kin.
The crash is actively being investigated.
