Brevard County Fire Rescue station 43 crew extinguished a residential fire on South Merritt Island Sunday evening. Station 43 was first due and assistance was provided by crews from Stations 41, 42, 48, 62 and 80. According to officials, aid was received from Cocoa Fire, Rockledge Fire, Merritt Island Volunteers, Four Communities Volunteers, and BCSO. BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue station 43 crew extinguished a residential fire on South Merritt Island Sunday evening.

Station 43 was first due and assistance was provided by crews from Stations 41, 42, 48, 62 and 80.

According to officials, aid was received from Cocoa Fire, Rockledge Fire, Merritt Island Volunteers, Four Communities Volunteers, and BCSO.

There were no injuries and the cause remains under investigation.
