BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue seeks experienced mechanics to support our fire rescue operations.

Brevard County Fire Rescue Equipment Technicians are responsible for maintaining the fire rescue fleet and must have a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License.

Applicants must possess experience with gasoline and diesel equipment, with specific practice involving heavy equipment and fire pump mechanics.

Brevard County Government offers competitive pay and benefits and retirement options through the Florida Retirement System.

Qualified applicants may be eligible for uniforms and boot allowance, after-hours and on-call pay, tool reimbursement, paid emergency vehicle training and certification, and hazard pay.
