Brevard Public Schools Hosts 5th Annual ‘Innovation Games’ at Satellite High School

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE, FLORIDA – Brevard Public Schools held the 5th annual Innovation Games at Satellite High School. More than 700 students from 43 schools across the county participated in a variety of exciting events.

These events included underwater robotics, drone challenges, model solar car races, an escape challenge, Innovation Playground activities, and an eSports competition.

Additionally, there was a shark tank-style invention competition, a computer coding challenge, and a school promotional video challenge.

Furthermore, the event wasn’t solely about competition. The U.S. Space Force contributed to the experience by introducing a playful element a robotic dog for students to interact with. Kona Ice also generously provided a refreshing break for participants with complimentary frozen treats.

“We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Northrop Grumman for being a generous sponsor,” said a Brevard Public Schools spokesperson.

“Their invaluable support helped make this event possible for our students and coaches. We also express gratitude to Satellite High School for hosting the event. Special thanks to Rock Paper Simple and our district employees for judging and helping facilitate the events.”
