Cape Canaveral, Brevard County and the Cocoa Fire crews responded to a residential house and adjacent strip center fire early Saturday morning on N. Atlantic Avenue and Madison Avenue. Firefighting crews responded about 1 a.m. to the home fire on Madison Avenue and other homes on the street were evacuated while firefighter battled the blaze the engulfed the strip center.
