BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Space Coast Daily is inviting all Veterans and current military members, along with their immediate family members, free of charge to a patriotic concert and festival experience with famous Country music singer Lee Greenwood on January 19, during the opening night of the Space Coast Key Lime Pie Festival at Space Coast Daily Park in Viera.

All Veterans and military members and their immediate family will be admitted free of charge into the Lee Greenwood concert and festival on Friday, Jan. 19. Veterans just need to show their valid ID for the free offer. A fireworks display will celebrate the U.S.A will follow the concert.

“Tom and I feel compelled to honor and thank our veterans for their service,” said Giles Malone, Partner with Space Coast Daily.

“Our concert with Lee Greenwood will be a way in which we will show our heartfelt appreciation for the sacrifices that our veterans and their family members have made. And as our veteran’s immediate family members also sacrifice so much, the spouse and children of the attending veteran will also be admitted at no charge.”




General admission tickets (standing room only) to the concert are just $15 each and also include admission to the Space Coast Key Lime Pie Festival on January 19. VIP concert tickets with seats in front of the stage are also available for $28 (rows H, I, J, K, L), $32 (rows D, E, F, G) and $39 (rows A, B, C). Festival gates will open from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. All concert tickets also include admission to the Key Lime Pie Festival on Jan.19, which is open from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., so guests can enjoy the other shows, arts/crafts and a wide variety of food and beverages all evening. The Space Coast Key Lime Pie Festival will also be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., where admission will be just $6 for adults. Children under 2 years of age will receive free admission. Pets on a leash are welcomed. Tickets are available at www.Eventbrite.com

The Friday Night Locker Room’s Orville Susong and Steve Wilson, featured on Space Coast Daily TV, will be providing special coverage and interviews of local veterans in the lead-up to the concert and festival January 9-21.

LOCAL CHARITY DROWN ZERO WILL BENEFIT FROM FUNDS RAISED AT THE FESTIVAL 

Funds raised from the event will benefit the 501.C3 charity Drown Zero. The Drown Zero initiative started as a Cocoa Beach Rotary Club project has successfully installed 62 Drown Zero flotation device stations along Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral from Harbor Heights Avenue to South 15th Street.

These “Throw – Don’t Go!” stations are available for adoption, which helps make the Drown Zero Project possible. The Drown Zero project has been made possible by the Surfing’s Evolution and Preservation Foundation ,Cocoa Beach Rotary Club in conjunction with the Cities of Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral.

“We are proud to be involved with the festival and the funds raised will help us create more life-saving stations on the beaches of Florida’s Space Coast,” said Wyatt Werneth, a volunteer with Drown Zero.

Space Coast Daily Park, 5775 Stadium Parkway, Viera, Fl 32940. Located just north of Viera High School and across the street from Space Coast Stadium.

All tickets include festival admission.

Saturday and Sunday, January 20-21, 2024: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Adults: $6 per person, per day.

Children under the age of 2 receive FREE admission.

Jimmy Riffle of the Gator Boys will show and tell and handle the large reptiles as seen on the HIT TV Show Animal Planet at both the Space Coast Key Lime Festival and at the Space Coast Strawberry Festivals, January 19-21 and Feb 2-4, 2024 at Space Coast Daily park in Viera.

We are blessed with an abundance of highly talented musical groups and entertainers on Florida’s Space Coast. Some say that is because of the talent that the Space Coast attracts. In any event, there will be a great lineup of musical groups to entertain you at the festival. Please check back here as we get closer to the festival for the lineup.

The Pink Spice Band duo will perform from 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Saturday, January 20. The Pink Spice Band is a band that plays a variety of music, including jazz, blues, rock, Motown, pop, and Latin dance.

Pink Spice is known for their positive energy and they put on a show that is sure to get the crowd engaged. The lead vocalist, Haia was in an international event touring band before moving to FL. Haia is also a doctor of Psychology working with Veterans.

Dave Jones on the Saxophone..Party Perfect with this talented musician who is turning heads on the Space Coast: Saturday and Sunday 10 am until 1 pm at the main entrance.

Saturday 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.  Frank Rios in concert: Frank Rios is a local musician from Brevard county. He performs regularly around the Space Coast as a Solo Acoustic Singer, and with his band, Rios Rockband. Frank has composed, recorded and released an album called Seven Truths and over 10 singles that can be heard on all streaming media platforms. The Syd Taylor Band will rock the festival on Sunday from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The 5-piece Syd Taylor Band will perform on Sunday from 11 a.m. 4 p.m. One of the rising stars on Florida’s Space Coast, Syd Taylor is described by her fans as “having the voice of an angel” and “I am in love with your voice..your voice is a blessing to the planet”. With those growing accolades, be sure to catch Syd Taylor with her awesome band, rock the festival guests from the Budwesier Stage

Squawk The Amazing Bird Show with shows three shows daily, Saturday and Sunday. Debbie and Mark Obarka have been performing over 20 years with their pet parrots, entertaining and amazing audiences across the US. After performing at resorts and theatres for the last few years, they are now looking forward to once again delighting Space Coast Daily festivals goers with their beautiful and talented parrots.

Meet and greet all the animals inside the Space Coast Daily Petting Zoo. Free with festival admission.

Festivals guests will also enjoy seeing all the beautiful animals of the Space Coast Daily Petting Zoo, which is free inside the festival.

Meet and feed the 15 goats and sheep, a mini donkey, a mini horse, a tortoise, pigs, ducks, chickens, snakes, guinea pigs, sugar gliders, rabbits, pigs and much more. If you would like to feed the animals, then you may purchase the safe feed from the petting zoo for $2 a bag.

Nature Nick’s Animal Adventures is a fast-paced educational wildlife show. You will be enraptured with delight as you see a 10’ long python or when a Eurasian Eagle owl stretches out his 6’ wingspan! All Show’s feature 5-6 trained exotic animals including, but not limited to: owls, falcons, snakes, alligators, Hedgehogs, toucan, turtles, and even a Chilean flamingo!

God Bless the U.S.A.: Lee Greenwood will perform a concert on Friday, January 19, to open the 2024 Space Coast Key Lime Pie Festival at Space Coast Daily Park in Viera.

All concert tickets are available online now and will also be available at the festival gates for cash, while supplies last. Parking is $5 cash. Festival tickets for Saturday and Sunday will be available at the gates.
