BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team is back in the top 10 in the NJCAA Division I National Rankings released on Monday.
The Titans are now No. 9 and have moved up in the poll for five straight weeks. Eastern Florida State College heads into the week on a 17-game win streak and is now 18-3 overall and 13-0 in the Citrus Conference.
Gulf Coast State College is No. 1 in the poll with Hutchinson Community College second and Northwest Florida State College is third in the poll. Collin County Community College is fourth with New Mexico Junior College No. 5.
Pensacola State College is No. 15 in the poll.
Eastern Florida State College is also No. 3 in the NJCAA Region 8 coaches poll released earlier on Monday.
The Titans will travel to Florida Southwestern on Wednesday before returning to Titan Field House on Saturday for a 2 p.m. game that will be shown on WEFS-TV, which is channel 9 or 455 on Spectrum, 68 on DirecTV, 30 on Dish and 68 on AT&T Uverse.
