BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are on-scene of a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 1:22 p.m. on Friday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Tara Crescenzi, the crash occurred on State Road 46 east of Pitbull Lane in Mims in Brevard County.
“The crash involves a 2016 Honda Odyssey and a 2014 Lincoln MKX,” said Lt. Crescenzi. “The sequence of events that lead to this crash are still under investigation.”
According to Lt. Crescenzi, the adult female diver of the Honda, along with the passengers, were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Lincoln, an adult male, was pronounced deceased on the scene.
“We currently only have preliminary information as our Traffic Homicide Investigators are still on-scene investigating this fatal collision,” said Lt. Crescenzi.
There is currently roadblock for the westbound lane on State Road 46.
