Kalyn is from North Carolina
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Congratulations to Kalyn Floyd on becoming the newest dispatcher at the Cocoa Beach Police Department.
Kalyn came to us from North Carolina where she worked for the New Hanover County 911 center when she and her husband moved to Florida.
Kalyn has completed the agencies training program which takes 16 weeks and will now begin taking the 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator Program where she will undergo 232 hours of state mandated training to become a state certified telecommunicator.
