Durant tallied 1,167 rushing yards, 11 touchdowns in 20 games
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Former Bayside Bear and Shorter University running back Justus Durant entered the NCAA transfer portal after spending the last two seasons in Georgia.
In two seasons at Shorter, Durant tallied 1,167 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns in 20 games played. This season the former Bayside standout finished with 9 rushing touchdowns and 685 total yards.
In 2021, Durant was named to the Space Coast Daily–Friday Night Locker Room first-team offense after rushing for 1,156 yards and 17 touchdowns in 8 games during his final season at Bayside.
