Hawks Shutout New Smyrna Beach 1-0 to Capture Soccer Regional Title , Viera High Advances to Final Four Set Feb. 28

The Viera Hawks soccer team claimed the FHSAA Class 6A District 7 regional championship over New Smyrna Beach after defeating the Barracudas 1-0 on Wednesday. The Hawks will have a chance to clinch a state championship berth as they will play against No. 1 seed Niceville in the state semifinals on February 28.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Viera Hawks soccer team claimed the FHSAA Class 6A District 7 regional championship over New Smyrna Beach after defeating the Barracudas 1-0 on Wednesday.

The Hawks will have a chance to clinch a state championship berth as they will play against No. 1 seed Niceville in the state semifinals on February 28.

The No. 4 seed Viera Hawks have a 21-2 overall record.
