victim identified as Nyaja Payal Jamison, 23, from Melbourne
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police have released the identity of the person killed in a crash on January 16 near the 500 block of North Harbor City Boulevard.
Authorities say the person is identified as 23-year-old Nyaja Payal Jamison from Melbourne.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that the driver and sole occupant of a 2015 Honda Civic had sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash and succumbed to those injuries several days later at Holmes Regional Medical Center.
Initial investigation reveals the involved vehicle left the roadway in the area of 541 North Harbor City Boulevard and collided with a concrete footer displaying a business sign.
The crash is still under investigation.
