The 920th Rescue Wing announced its 2023 Airmen of the Year on January 17. These wing-level distinctions recognize high-performing rescue Airmen who exceed the expectations of Air Force core values, leadership, and job performance.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The 920th Rescue Wing announced its 2023 Airmen of the Year on January 17.

These wing-level distinctions recognize high-performing rescue Airmen who exceed the expectations of Air Force core values, leadership, and job performance.

■ Airman: Senior Airman Joshua Morse, 920th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron

■ Non-Commissioned Officer: Tech. Sgt. Xandria Loehr, 920th Operations Support Squadron

■ Senior NCO: Master Sgt. Daniel Ibarra, 39th Rescue Squadron

■ First Sergeant: Master Sgt. Brian Durbin, 304th Rescue Squadron

■ Company Grade Officer: Capt. David Reifenberg, 308th Rescue Squadron

■ Field Grade Officer: Maj. Kenneth Creager, 39th Rescue Squadron

The 920th RQW is a combined arms team of special mission personnel and aviation who plan, lead and conduct military rescue operations and missions to deny competitors and adversaries exploitation of isolation personnel.
