BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police honored Lt. Jeremy Ondo as he retired after 25 years of dedicated service.

“We honored Lt. Jeremy Ondo on the eve of his retirement. Lt. Ondo has faithfully served the citizens of Cocoa for 25 years!” said Cocoa Police Chief Collier.

The Department presented him with a plaque in recognition of his service and promoted him to the rank of commander.

Lt. Ondo was also presented with the “Chief’s Challenge Coin,”,a token of special appreciation only given to those who have displayed great character and distinguished service.

“Lt. Ondo’s knowledge, expertise, and dedication to protect and serve will be missed. We thank him for his service and wish him well in retirement,” said a Cocoa Police spokesperson.
