ABOVE VIDEO: SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 launch of the EUTELSAT 36D mission to a geosynchronous transfer orbit from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Saturday.
BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – On Saturday, March 30 at 5:52 p.m. ET, Falcon 9 launched the EUTELSAT 36D mission to a geosynchronous transfer orbit from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
This was the 12th launch of the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched CRS-26, OneWeb Launch 16, Intelsat IS-40e, O3b mPOWER, Ovzon 3, and six Starlink missions.
The second rocket launch will happen from Space Launch Complex-40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and will feature a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket that carry another batch of second-generation Starlink V2 Mini internet satellites. Launch window is open from 9-10 p.m. ET.
The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean about 8 minutes after liftoff.
