BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A Titusville police officer was involved in a traffic crash on Friday, September 29, 2023, at approximately 5:30 a.m., while responding to an in-progress domestic violence call for service.
The preliminary investigation revealed the officer was driving his patrol vehicle en-route to the active scene and subsequently crashed into the garage of a residence, located on the 3000 block of Zaharias Place.
The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is recovering at home, according to Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department
There were no other injuries.
This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department.
