Anjani receives $5,000 in awards, invitation to Prudential HQ

WATCH: Anjani Sharma and Emily Qu talk with the Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson at the Erdman Automotive Studio in Cocoa. Sharma, a senior at West Shore Jr./Sr. High School, and Qu, a senior at Edgewood Jr./Sr. High School, both attended Girls State during the summer of 2023 in Tallahassee, Florida, and were elected Governor and Lt. Governor. Sharma and Qu also founded Minds Without B0rders, an organization that aims to create more mental health resources in schools, colleges, and communities.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – West Shore Jr./Sr. High School senior Anjani Sharma was named one of the 25 winners in the 2024 Prudential Emerging Visionaries program.

Prudential Emerging Visionaries is a national program that awards young people ages 14-18 who have innovative solutions to today’s toughest financial or societal challenges and are creating meaningful change in the world around them.

As a Prudential Emerging Visionary winner, Anjani will receive $5,000 in awards and an invitation to Prudential headquarters, as well as coaching and skills development to help take her innovation to the next level.

We are so proud to celebrate all that Anjani has accomplished. Thank you for leading the change we want to see in the world.
