BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eau Gallie High School senior guard Alayna Lherisse was named 5A District 12 Player of the Year and District MVP by the Florida Athletic Coaches Association.
The Commodore’s senior captain is now a two-time recipient of the award after being named player of the year as a sophomore in 2022.
The district coaches also voted Alayna to be the 2024 District MVP.
Lherisse will represent Brevard in the FACA Senior All-Star Classic Game in Lakeland. She can add this to her long list of accomplishments, including 1,000 career points she surpassed earlier this season.
