A renowned fly fisherman, Cave has captured the love of the sport in his watercolor and acrylic paintings
BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Downtown Art Gallery in Titusville, located at 400 Orange Street, will present the artwork of Featured Artist Jon Cave.
A renowned fly fisherman, Cave has captured the love of the sport in his watercolor and acrylic paintings.
“Fins & Frames – a Splash of Color from the Fly Fishing Palette of Jon Cave” is on display from March 18 to April 11 with an opening reception on March 22 from 5 to 8 pm
Cave is a professional fly-fishing guide, outdoor writer, photographer, and the owner of Performance Fly-Fishing Schools.
He has traveled the world in pursuit of some of the most prized fresh and salt-water fishes. As an artist, he creates paintings that authentically capture the excitement of fly fishing and the beautiful environments where the fish are found.
“My paintings are drawn from that a wide range of experiences and interactions with fish and portray the specific exhilarating moments all fly-fishers have as they pursue a favorite species of game fish,” said Cave.
You can view Cave’s art during regular gallery hours Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
