Eastern Florida State Soccer Player Gunnar Studenhofft Drafted by Colorado Rapids in MLS SuperDraft

Studenhofft was the No. 60 overall pick in the draft

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Former Eastern Florida State College men’s soccer player Gunnar Studenhofft was drafted in the MLS SuperDraft on Tuesday.

The forward who is now playing at Manhattan College was the second pick of the third round by the Colorado Rapids.

Studenhofft, who was a member of the Titans in 2021-22, scored twice in five games including a penalty kick. He would go on to Manahattan College, an NCAA Division I school in New York where he scored seven goals and had five assists in 22 games over two seasons with the Jaspers.

Overall, he was pick No. 60 in the draft.

Studenhofft becomes the fourth former Titan to be drafted in the MLS SuperDraft and second straight season the Titans have had a former player drafted. Levonte Johnson was drafted last year and Wilfred Williams went in 2017-18.

Ivan Magalhaes was the first Titan to be drafted in the MLS SuperDraft, going in the second round by Houston in 2015-16.
