Sgt. Morris has been with Palm Bay Police Department for 7 years
BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police Department announced on Wednesday that they have promoted Zachery Morris to the position of Sergeant.
Sergeant Morris has been with the Palm Bay Police Department for 7 years.
During his time, he served on road patrol and as a K9 Handler.
In October of 2022, he became the Corporal of the K9 Unit, where he was responsible for the unit’s operations.
Sergeant Morris was responsible for the implementation of new policies and procedures within the unit, which provided a high standard, and level of service to our community.
Sergeant Morris and his K9 partner were responsible for the apprehension of numerous violent offenders within Palm Bay. He has acted as a support to specialty units within our department, as well as Federal Entities with various operations.
With his promotion, he will be assigned to the Unform Services Division, where he will be responsible for a shift of road patrol officers within one of our many districts.
