BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Enroll now! Eastern Florida State College offers multiple Associate in Science and Bachelor of Applied Science Degrees in the computing, cybersecurity and information technologies field. 

For a dynamic computer and IT career, EFSC offers the training to get started or to advance in the workforce. Courses in College Credit Certificate options also map to one or more of the Associate in Science degree programs of study, providing multiple completion points.

Computer IT Industry Certification Tests that EFSC students take each year also bolster their resumes and give them the edge they need to compete for jobs.

Eastern Florida State College offers five specializations in this degree, all aligned with fast-growing management careers in the information technologies field:

■ Computer Project Management

■ Cybersecurity

■ Data Science

The five specializations prepare graduates for entry level as well as administrative/managerial positions in business, industry, technical , health care services and other related industries in the public, private and non-profit sectors. This B.A.S. degree is eligible as part of the $10,000 Bachelor’s Degree Program.

The BAS programs are designed for students who already hold an Associate in Science, Associate in Arts or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution, including recent graduates and those with experience in the work force. The Bachelor of Applied Science Degree (BAS) is a career-oriented degree that builds on skills acquired in the workplace or through previous coursework. The BAS programs are designed for students who already hold an Associate in Science, Associate in Arts or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution, including recent graduates and those with experience in the work force.

Students pursuing the BAS degree at Eastern Florida State College must have at a minimum:

■ Earned an A.S. or A.A. degree from a regionally accredited college.

■ An Associate of Applied Science ( A.A.S.) degree does not meet the minimum eligibility requirements for entry into a BAS program. A.A.S. degree holders interested in transfer to a BAS program should consult with an academic advisor to review coursework and determine the best transfer options.

Bachelor program courses can fill quickly when registration begins before each term. To finish a program that has a designated 100% online option by taking only online courses, students need to register in a timely manner to ensure they have a seat for the online course offerings of their choice. The same guidance applies to access for face-to-face courses on campus. Work with your advisor as needed when planning and be sure to check the important term dates and student email for current information about registration start dates.
