Florida Tech’s 2018-19 men’s soccer was recently honored with the United Soccer Coaches (USC) team academic award, announced Thursday, Oct. 3. The USC team academic award is given to teams that achieve above a 3.0 GPA and 994 (346 men, 648 women) collegiate teams achieved the mark.

Florida Tech men’s soccer kicked off its season with a bang as they took down Davenport, 4-1. Solomon Wheatley was a menace as he netted two goals while Hugo Lopez and Luca Campanini each knocked in a goal of their own. Craig McCall, Campanini and Ellis Hudson tallied an assist while Per Henrik Nag was apart of two-goal efforts.

Florida Tech Men’s Soccer Coach Robin Chan Announces 2019 Schedule, Includes Seven Home Dates

Men’s soccer head coach, Robin Chan, has announced the team’s 2019 schedule. During the regular season, the team will take the field against three NCAA tournament teams, including the defending national champion, and will scrimmage another during its preseason.
