Eastern Florida State Women’s Golf Places Seventh at Oldfield Intercollegiate Event

Titans shot a 323 in the final round

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s golf team placed seventh at the Oldfield Intercollegiate Tuesday in South Carolina.

The Titans shot a 323 in the final round to finish the three-round tournament with a 956. SCAD-Savannah won the tournament, shooting a 297 in the final round and finished at 913.

Brittany Odic shot her best round of the tourney, a 76 with two birdies to place tied for 17th overall.

Gracie Doke placed tied for 11th overall after shooting an 81 in the final round. Teammate Jenna Barnett shot an 82 and finished tied for 17th. Emma Parker had an 84 and Jaida Furlow had a 90.

“Good job by Brittany today, tough day for everyone else,” Eastern Florida State College women’s golf coach Jamie Howell said. “We have a full month to get some good work in.”

Eastern Florida State College will compete in the Catawba Spring Invitational on March 3-5.
